Igor Morais is a graphic designer and visual artist working at the intersection of drawing and storytelling. His work focuses on creating and combining words and images to build visual narratives through illustrations, animations, and comics, both for commercial and personal projects.
In commercial projects, he creates illustrations, animated videos, and interactive illustrated stories aimed at strengthening or building the identity of small brands, startups, and nonprofit organizations.
He began his career in editorial design, designing and illustrating children’s books. From 2009 to 2013, he founded and operated Mimo Studio, which specialized in 2D animation. Throughout his life, he has cultivated hands-on skills in a art-studio setting, and his personal work currently explores themes such as prehistory, nature, technology, and everyday life.
A graduate in Visual Communication Design from PUC-Rio in 2006, he lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, his hometown.
